How Are We Different

We like to travel differently. Authentically. Off the beaten path. With only our backpacks in tow. We search for those remote, lesser-known, picturesque spots and figure out how to navigate those must see "tourist spots" without spending your entire afternoon waiting in lines. You will not find us on buses filled with camera flashing tourists or overpriced tourist restaurants. We travel differently. Like the millions of millenials out there. Millenials have it right. We don't want to be herded like sheep from one spot to the next... don't be a sheep, travel authentically.
We want to help the millions of other people out there that have full time jobs, 2 weeks paid time off, and want to travel as much as possible, for as affordable as possible. We are excited to share the tips and tricks we have learned and our favorite places!

Hello, Hola, Bonjour, Hallo, Ciao, Namaste, Salaam

Hi! We are a couple of newylweds that have decided to make travel our #1 priority for the first year of marriage. We currently live in Texas and have full-time jobs. Yep, you read that right. Unlike many other travel bloggers we plan to do this at the same time as keeping our full-time jobs. Colin is a mechanical engineer that gets to frequently travel to remote, amazing locations around the globe. Kelsey is a pediatric occupational therapist. She works with children's of all disabilities such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, and many more. She currently works for a school district which allows her to travel as much as possible.

Why did we decide to make travel a priority now?

We both have walked the "typical" American dream. We went to college, graduate school, got engaged, bought a house, got married, blah, blah, blah. About half way through all of this we had to step back and ask ourselves if we were doing this because we wanted to or because it is what society tells us to do. We knew we were at a pivotal point in our lives. A point in which we had to say "Should we settle down? Or travel now?" Definitely Travel. So please join us on this exciting journey!
